Our plan for Nicollet Island made provisions for major commercial and recreational development for a neglected area along the Mississippi River, created a link between the shore and the nearby metropolis of Minneapolis, and included a historical Museum of the River, park, swimming facilities, retails and entertainment venues, and various types of housing.
